The Opening Ceremony of the Flood Rehabilitation Project between the Chaipattana Foundation and the Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd.

On June 18, 2012, Mr Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation and Mr Pairoj Kaweeyanun, President of Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. presided over the official launch of the collaborative project on flood rehabilitation between the Chaipattana Foundation and the Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, as the Executive Chairperson, authorized Office of the Chaipattana Foundation to collaborate with the Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. to help alleviate the impact of last year’s floods. Approximately 15 million baht of the total donation of 1 million US dollars from the Chevron Thailand Exploration and Production, Ltd. has recently been allocated to schools, child care centers, local mosques and health care centers in Nonthaburi, Pathumthani, Ayutthaya, Singburi and Lopburi provinces.

The ceremony was also attended by high-ranking representatives from both sides as well as media.
