MOU Signing Ceremony between the Chaipattana Foundation and King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang

On October 4, 2012, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, and Prof. Dr. Tawil Paungma, President of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, presided over the MOU signing ceremony for collaboration of “Research Project to Prepare for and to Live with Natural Disasters” at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bangkok.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted her permission for the Chaipattana Foundation to operate this project to design easily-construct floating houses that is suitable for normal and flood situations. The Chaipattana Foundation will apply the floating house model to establish centers for flood victims.
