Opening Ceremony of the International Training Program on “Agricultural Concepts and Technology based on Royal Initiatives for Sustainable Development”
On November 19, 2012, Mr.Sumet Tantivejkul, the Secretary-General of Chaipattana Foundation, and Mr.Piroon Laismit, Director-General of Thailand International Development Cooperation Agency (TICA) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, presided over the opening ceremony of the international training program on “Agricultural Concepts and Technology based on Royal Initiatives for Sustainable Development” at the Amari Atrium, Bangkok.
The program was held from 19-25 November 2012, being organized by Chaipattana Foundation and sponsored by TICA. This particular program targets on the distribution of the agricultural concepts and technology based on royal initiatives for the sustainable developments to overseas and for the participants from 15 developing countries to exchange their specialized knowledge and expertise.
His Majesty’s agricultural concepts and technology always rely on simplicity for people to adapt the ideas, to execute them efficiently, and to become self-reliant without the demand for expensive equipment. These concepts were designed perfectly for these developing countries with the interest and expertise especially in agriculture.
