“On-time Clock” Handover Ceremony

On October 1, 2013, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, presided over the handover ceremony of nine “On-time” clocks from the Minister of Information and Communication Technology. These clocks were part of a pilot test to use a special technology developed by the National Electronics and Computer Technology Center (NECTEC) and National Institute of Metrology, which can decode FM/RDS digital radio wave signal from standard time transmission via 102.5 MHz radio wave signal, to promote the use of official standard time in Thailand.
