On 22 November, 2014, Mr. Lalit Thanomsing, Assistant Secretary - General of the Chaipattana Foundation, presided over the opening ceremony of the traditional event of 'Transplant on Mother's Day, Harvest on Father's Day' on the Chaipattana's Land at the Chaipattana Foundation's New Theory demonstration project in accordance to the royal initiative in Pak Thong Chai district, Nakhon Ratchasima province. The Chaipattana Foundation held this traditional event for the first time on 8 December, 2014. It received overwhelming responses from the public. Nakhon Ratchasima province and the communities, therefore, decided to organize the event every year. It is also another way for the local people to express their respect to His Majesty the King who is the honorary president of the Chaipattana Foundation and they believe that the event will conserve the local tradition for the farmers and the communities.
