Deputy Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation presides over the Tradition of Transplanting Rice Seedlings in Honor of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother.

On 15 August 2019, Mr. Suvat Chirapant, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, presided over the tradition of transplanting rice seedlings in honor of “Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother” on the occasion of Her Majesty’s birthday, at Demonstration Project According to the Royally-initiated New Theory, Pak Thong Chai District, Nakhon Ratchasima Province.

The objective of this event is to preserve the tradition of rice transplanting and revive local cultures and customs while building good relationship between the project and the community.
