Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Presents Royally-granted Vegetable Seeds from Prince Chakraband Pensiri Center for Plant Development of the Chaipattana Foundation

On 27 March 2021, M.L. Jirapan Davivongs, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation presided over the presentation of royally-granted vegetable seeds from Prince Chakraband Pensiri Center for Plant Development to the residents in National Housing Authority Public Community. The presentation ceremony took place at Building 5, Head office of National Housing Authority Public Community, Bangkapi District, Bangkok.

The Covid-19 pandemic renders major impacts to a large number of people, including those in the National Housing Authority Public Community. Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, therefore, graciously granted vegetable seeds from Prince Chakraband Pensiri Center for Plant Development of the Chaipattana Foundation to the residents in National Housing Authority Public Community in order to relieve their suffering from the outbreak. The ultimate goal is to enable them to become self-reliant according to His Late Majesty’s Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. In addition, the vegetable seeds are grown for household consumption and the surplus thereof can be sold for additional income.
