On 26 September 2022, at 11.30, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Member and Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, signed the memorandum of cooperation to expand knowledge according to the royal initiative to youth. The Ceremony was organized at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center.

This is the collaboration of 4 organisations, i.e., the Chaipattana Foundation, Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB), Office of Basic Education Commission (OOBEC, and Thai Beverage Public Company Limited. The objectives are to provide educational opportunities to children and youth in remote areas, so that they can gain better understanding on the royal initiative and apply knowledge to suit in their contexts in a sustainable manner for the utmost benefits.

Later, at 14.00, Mr.Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation presided over the opening ceremony of the Sustainability Expo 2022 (SX 2022) and delivered a keynote address on sustainable development: sufficiency economy philosophy of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great.

At the event, the Chaipattana Foundation showcased the Foundation’s development works, for example, the IT systems, the operation to strengthen the food security, the development of handicraft work, etc. These are considered the examples of sustainable development according to His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn.
