HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Inspects the Progress of the Chaipattana Foundation’s Sirindhorn Agricultural Center

On June 17, 2013, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously visited the Chaipattana Foundation’s Sirindhorn Agricultural Center in Bang Mun Nak district of Phichit province to inspect the project’s progress. Last year, several agricultural learning stations were established to educate farmers about appropriate production technology and chemical-free farming methods with the aim to promote high quality products, reduce cost and assist farmers to become self sufficient.

Her Royal Highness then visited Ban Bueng Pradu Community Rice Seed Production Center and Ngiu Rai Community Enterprise in Taphan Hin district of Phichit province to inspect the operation of both projects, which were initiated following the establishment of the Sirindhorn Agricultural Center to serve as learning stations about rice seed and organic fertilizer production.
