HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Presides Over the Opening Ceremony of the Chinese New Year Festival on Yaowarat Road and Visits PatPat Shop
On 16 February, 2018, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously presided over the opening ceremony of the Chinese New Year Festival 2018 at the sixth cycle birthday Royal Jubilee Gate on Yaowarat Road, Samphantawong District, Bangkok, and also visited the PatPat shop of the Chaipattana Foundation.
“PatPat” is a commercial brand for the products of development projects implemented by the Chaipattana Foundation in accordance with the Royal initiatives of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn. The products from “PatPat” or “products from development projects” are special and different from other types of products as they have their own history and background that describe the story and journey during the royal visits throughout the country. From the said visits, Their Majesties also provide knowledge and guidance to people on how to earn a living in a sustainable manner. This leads to different occupations and different products which are considered the tangible income for their family and community.
