Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Transplants Rice at the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Nakhon Nayok Province

On 23 July 2019, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn made a royal visit to Nakhon Nayok Province to transplant rice seedlings Kor Khor 79 Rice in the paddy demonstration plot at the Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Nokhon Nayok Province.

The rice that Her Royal Highness transplanted this year is Kor Khor 79 Rice, by which the organic fertilizer will be used for the transplant rice seedlings. The Kor Khor 79 Rice was the new genre rice which was certified by Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives. This type of rice is soft after cooking, and can be harvested in about 118 days. The said rice has a good quality and 100% high production rate with low Amylose. 

Apart from transplanting rice seedlings same as every year, Her Royal Highness also introduced the new type of rice to the farmer group.
