The Signing Ceremony of the Memorandum of Collaboration between the Chaipattana Foundation and Prince of Songkhla University
On 20 April, 2011, Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, and Associate Professor Dr. Boonsom Siribumroongsuk, Rector of Prince of Songkhla University signed the memorandum of the 2nd academic collaboration between the Chaipattana Foundation and Prince of Songkhla University to promote higher education for Southern youth who, after graduation, will be able to return to play the leading role in local development according to Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Initiatives.
On this occasion, both parties also agreed to sign the memorandum of collaboration on several development projects on Boo Loan Island, Muang District, Satun Province, in response to Her Royal Highness’s Initiatives to assist in and promote the areas of public health, education, environment, and tourism for secure and sustainable living.
