The Secretary-General Presides over the Memorandum of Collaboration Signing Ceremony in Songkla Province

 

On August 22, 2012, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, went to Prince of Songkla University, Songkla Province, to preside over the memorandum of collaboration signing ceremony

for the following projects:

 

- Palm Species Collection and Research Project of the Chaipattana Foundation: The Chaipattana Foundation receives collaboration from Prince of Songkla University and Office of Vocational Education Commission to carry out the project in the national forest area in Trang province with the permission from Department of Forestry.

- Academic Skill Enhancement Project for Students in Southern Provinces: The Chaipattana Foundation in collaboration with Prince of Songkla University and PSU Wittayanusorn School established this project in order to prepare high school students in the southern provinces to continue their higher education.

 

 

Then, Mr. Sumet proceeded to Thaksin University, Songkhla Province, to preside over the memorandum of collaboration signing ceremony for the Educational Development Project under the Chaipattana Foundation’s Patronage, which the Chaipattana Foundation, in collaboration with Thaksin University and Satun Primary Educational Service Area Office, established according to the royal initiative of Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to enhance students’ educational potential and solve the problem of teachers shortage in schools on the islands in Satun province.
