Opening Ceremony of Chaipattana Foundation – Republic of Singapore's Short-term Cultural and Educational Exchange Program

 

On November 5, 2013, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of Chaipattana Foundation, Mr. Lalit Thanomsing, Assistant Secretary-General, H.E. Mrs. Chua Siew San, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore, and H.E. Mr. Marut Jitpatima, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand presided over the opening ceremony of Chaipattana Foundation – Republic of Singapore Short-term Cultural and Educational Exchange Program at NorthLight School, Singapore. On this occasion, a short introduction to NorthLight School and the Exchange Program's overview was given by Mr. Martin Tan, Principal.

 

 

For Thai participants, the Exchange Program was held during 4-9 November 2013 in Singapore. The objective of the Exchange Program is to give 8 students and 4 teachers from 4 different schools under the Chaipattana Foundation's support, a chance to broaden their horizon and experience Singapore's leading vocational education in order to inspire them to apply the knowledge gained to the context of their respective schools upon their return to Thailand.
