Opening Ceremony of the “Imagination and Inspiration from Rice” Celebratory Painting Competition and Arts Exhibition

 

On December 6, 2013, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation and President of the Thai Rice Foundation under Royal Patronage, Mr. Manoon Mookpradit, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation and Member of the Thai Rice Foundation under Royal Patronage, and Mr. Pimonsak Suvanathat, Treasurer of the Chaipattana Foundation, presided over the Opening Ceremony of the “Imagination and Inspiration from Rice” Celebratory Painting Competition and Arts Exhibition, organized by the Thai Rice Foundation under Royal Patronage, to celebrate the 85th birthday anniversary of His Majesty the King, at the National Gallery, Chao Fa Road, Bangkok.

 

 

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s Prize Winning Awards were given to Mr. Chiaochan Thipwong, Mr. Pricha Phrompraptuk, and Mr. Jakkrit Mun-inta respectively. Awards from the Thai Rice Foundation under Royal Patronage were also given to Mr. Soraphong Sichompu, Mr. Santi Singsu, and Mr. Bunnam Sasut, respectively.

 

 

On this occasion, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul inaugurated the exhibition by painting an oil painting on canvas named “Golden Rice”.
