Participants from the 1st Chaipattana Foundation’s Leadership Programme for Sustainable Development visited Buriram Province

On 20 August 2016, Mr. Sumet Tantivejakul, the Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation together with participants from the 1st Chaipattana Foundation’s Leadership Programme for Sustainable Development visited Buriram province.


On this occasion, the group visited “Sutthinun Community Center for Sustainable Life (Mahashivalai Isan) at Ban Pakchong in Satuek District” and “Local Wisdom Center of Paw Kamdueng Pasee at Hua Fai Sub- District in Kan Dong District”


Moreover, the group visited the operation of the I-Mobile Stadium, Water Management Community Model according to royal initiatives at Ban Lim Thong and Ban Non Kwang, and Ban Khud Yai Reservoir. These sites have different administrating patterns but they all hold the philosophy of sustainability to strengthen their communities. Nowadays, Buriram province becomes one of the most famous tourist attractions in Thailand.
