Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation Presides over the Project “OUR Khung Bang Kachao” at Lat Pho Park

On 24 July 2018, Mr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation and Chairman of the Board on Sustainable Development of Khung Bang Kachao, presided the opening ceremony of the project “OUR Khung Bang Kachao”. The Chaipattana Foundation has invited both government and private sectors to encourage the development of Khung Bang Kachao area in the form of social collaboration. This is to serve the royal initiatives of King Rama IX and Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn to conserve and develop the area of Khung Bang Kachao in a way that the communities and the nature can live together, on the basis of strong community economy and based on sufficiency theory.

Accordingly, the project “OUR Khung Bang Kachao” was established and the project was participated by over 30 organizations from government and private sectors, education institutes, and communities. This is to let the society and communities realize and lend their hand on the development of Khung Bang Kachao area so that this area could be growing in a sustainable manner. The project “OUR Khung Bang Kachao” was expected to open on 24 July 2018 from 14.00-18.00 at Lat Pho Park, Song Khanong Sub-district, Phra Pradaeng District, Samut Prakan Province.
