On 16 August 2022, Mr. Techapol Thitayarasa, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, represented the Chaipattana Foundation to receive a certificate of “Good Manufacturing Practice”  from Mrs. Anong Paichitpraphaporn, Director of the Food Institute.

The Chaipattana Foundation Rice Mill, at Lat Bua Luang District, Ayutthaya Province, is a closed-system rice mill equipped with drying machine, which can reduce moisture of the grain before passing to the milling process. In addition, the Project also encourages the farmers to conduct farming with no use of chemical substances. Furthermore, the Project  provides knowledge to the locals on how to conduct safe agriculture. In the meantime, the Project helps purchase the rice from farmers for further milling, packaging and selling at PatPat shop. This helps create the opportunity and marketing channel for them.
