His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great granted an initiative to establish the “Chaipattana Foundation” aiming to alleviate poverty and improve the well-being of the Thai people. The Chaipattana Foundation serves to provide prompt, timely and necessary responses to problems affecting Thai people through various development projects, leading to the stability and prosperity of the nation, which is considered the “Victory of Development.”

His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great bestowed 3 million Baht of personal fund to register the Chaipattana Foundation, and the foundation was officially registered on 14 June 1988. In 2023, it comes to the 35th year of establishment. The Foundation has still carried out development tasks according to the royal initiatives with over 200 projects around the country.
