Royally-granted Rice Seeds Presentation Ceremony

On 12 January 2024, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously bestowed Pathumthani 1 Rice Seeds of the Chaipattana Foundation to the farmers and the people affected by disasters in Na In and Na Yang Sub-districts, Phichai District, Uttaradit Province. By this, Mr. Danucha Sintawanon, Member and Deputy Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation, presided over the rice presentation ceremony at Na-in Land Reform Agricultural Cooperative Limited, Phichai District, Uttaradit Province.

The Pathumthani Rice Seeds in the amount of 259,350 kilograms, were presented to 1,004 farmers in 14 villages of Phichai District, Uttaradit Province. This area, covering 17,290 rai (6,916 acres), were affected by drought, causing great damage to agricultural plots.

Thanks to Her Royal Highness’ Benevolence, Thai farmers are able to continue growing rice in the coming new season.
