Her Royal Highness visits flood-affected residents in Chon Buri province

On 7 November, 2011, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited the Chaipattana Foundation Aid and Restoration Center for Flood Victims at the Land Development Project, Wat Yanasangwararam Woramahawihan, Bang Lamung district, Chon Buri province.  She observed the living conditions of the flood evacuees, including vocational training and leisure activities for young children.

Her Royal Highness then proceeded to the 9th Regional Office of Irrigation Department, Sriracha district, Chon Buri province.  She observed material donations made by the generous public to help the flood victims, and the assembling process of the survival kits to be distributed to flood victims at the Chaipattana Foundation Aid and Restoration Centers for Flood Victims and those stranded at their own homes.  Apart from Office of the Chaipattana Foundation and Chitralada School (Vocational Section), the 9th Regional Office of the Irrigation Department is another main logistic supporter for the Chaipattana Foundation’s flood relief operations.
