Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Presides over the Opening of “Chaipattana Fair” in Nakhon Nayok Province

 

On 12 December 2024, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn presided over the opening of “Chaipattana Fair” in Nakhon Nayok Province. The Fair was organized during 12-15 December 2024 at Khun Dan Prakan Chon Dam and Suda Duenpen Training Center and Accommodation of the Chaipattana Foundation. The objective of the event is to provide the public with an opportunity to get to know about the products from development projects of the Chaipattana Foundation, as well as the development concepts behind them, and to pay homage to the benevolence of King Rama IX, the founder of the Chaipattana Foundation.

             

Following this, Her Royal Highness proceeded to visit various shops, totaling over 170 shops. These shops offered a wide range of high-quality products, including food and household items from all regions of the country. This initiative received strong cooperation from both the public and private sectors. The zones of the shops are for example shops from the Royal Development Study Centers and Royal Development Projects, Nakhon Nayok provincial products, products and services from partner companies of the Chaipattana Foundation, alumni from the Chaipattana Foundation’s Leadership Program for Sustainable Development. On this occasion, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn prepared 3 types of “Royally-granted Thai Fried Cakes” or “Tod Mun”.

             

The event featured a variety of educational and entertainment activities, including live music performances, cooking demonstrations by renowned chefs, culinary and handicraft workshops, cultural performances, and a special “Chef’s Table” experience led by celebrity chefs, with proceeds donated to the Chaipattana Foundation. In addition, there was a cooking competition by Dr. Sumet Tantivejkul, Secretary-General of the Chaipattana Foundation; Mr. Suporn Treenarinth, Secretary-General of the Office of the Royal Development Projects Board (ORDPB); and Mr. Chanon Vasisiri, Governor of Nakhon Nayok Province.

             

             

Additionally, the visitors can participate in a check-in activity to receive souvenirs and a grand prize draw for a Yamaha Fazzio motorcycle. Special invitations will be sent to donors supporting the Chaipattana Foundation, allowing them to attend the event and enjoy complimentary royally-granted recipe beverages. The event also had a TikTok Contest, inviting TikTok users to showcase their creativity and compete for special prizes from the Chaipattana Foundation.
