Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Observes the Progress of " Thaharn Phandee Project (The Good Farmer Soldiers)" at Chiraprawat Military Camp, Nakhon Sawan Province

On 5 February 2025, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn visited Chiraprawat Military Camp in Mueang Nakhon Sawan District, Nakhon Sawan Province, to observe the progress of Thaharn Phandee Project (The Good Farmer Soldiers).

Chiraprawat Military Camp in Mueang Nakhon Sawan joined the the Good Farmer Soldiers Project in 2022, with six military units participating:

1. the 31^st Military Circle, represented by Chiraprawat Camp Hospital and the Reserve Officer Training Corps Training Center,

2. the 4^th Infantry Regiment,

3. the 1^st Infantry Battalion 4^th Infantry Regiment,

4. the 2^nd Infantry Battalion 4^th Infantry Regiment,

5. the 4^th Artillery Battalion 4^th Artillery Regiment,

6. the 4^th Engineer Battalion 4^th Infantry Division. The project also encompasses various agricultural, livestock, and aquaculture initiatives:

Agriculture: The cultivation of pesticide-free vegetables, fruit trees, and insect-repellent herbs. Additionally, the project produces wood vinegar and organic compost based on royal guidance.

Livestock: The breeding of Su Tai and Mei Shan pigs for distribution to border communities, as well as the raising of Bang Pakong layer ducks.

Aquaculture: Experimental snakeskin gourami fish farming in rice fields and ponds.

On this occasion, Her Royal Highness graciously had a conversation with military personnel and gave them morale support and encouragement to continue performing their duties.
