Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Follows Up on the Progress of the Short-term Educational and Cultural Exchange Program of the Chaipattana Foundation in the Republic of Singapore

On 21 August 2025, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn travels to follow up on the progress of the Short-term Educational and Cultural Exchange Program, a collaborative initiative between the Chaipattana Foundation and the Republic of Singapore. On this occasion, Her Royal Highness officially inaugurated the 7th of the program, held from 18 to 22 August 2025 at NorthLight School in the Republic of Singapore.

The program aims to provide opportunities for upper secondary vocational students from remote areas supported by the Chaipattana Foundation to broaden their horizons and gain inspiration from Singapore’s advanced vocational education and training systems, as well as its modern technologies. Participants are encouraged to apply the knowledge and experience gained to further their vocational studies and future careers. In 2025, a total of 12 students and teachers from 4 schools in Thailand took part in the program: Wangnoi (Phanomyong Wittaya) School in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province, Kuraburi Chaipattana Pittayakom School in Phang Nga Province, Udomsasn Witya School and Srifarida Baru Witya School in Yala Province.

The Short-term Educational and Cultural Exchange Program has proven to be highly successful. The students have gained new perspectives. They are more determined to improve themselves academically and in various skills. Moreover, the program continues to strengthen the friendship and educational cooperation between Thailand and the Republic of Singapore.
