Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Proceeds to Observe the Operation Progress of “Thaharn Phandee Project (Good Farmer Soldier)”at King Baromma Trailokkanat Camp, Phitsanulok Province

On 28 February 2020, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn proceeded to observe operation progress of “Thaharn Phandee Project (Good Farmer Soldier)” at King Baromma Trailokkanat Camp, Phitsanulok Province.

Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn granted an initiation to the Chaipattana Foundation to set up the Thaharn Phandee Project (Good Farmer Soldier) with an objective to promote good agricultural practice based on the standard to military officers. By this way, the people will have safe vegetables for household consumption. The surplus of these vegetables can be sold for additional income after retirement. Thereby, the military officers shall be trained at Prince Chakraband Pensiri Center for Plant Development of the Chaipattana Foundation in order to learn about safe vegetable cultivation. Then, the quality vegetable seeds from Prince Chakraband Pensiri Center for Plant Development shall be distributed to the military officers for further cultivation at home and for creation of a network of safe vegetables in their community.
