Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Presides over the Opening Ceremony of the International Conference on Environment through an Online Platform
On 14 March 2022, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, the Honorary President. and Executive Chairperson of the Chaipattana Foundation, presided over the opening ceremony of the international conference “3rd International Conference on Environment, Livelihood, and Services” through an online platform. On this occasion, Her Royal Highness delivered a speech on Global Change and Social Self- Reliance through the Chaipattana Foundation’s Initiatives”.
Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously granted a permission to the King’s Royally Initiated Laem Pak Bia Environmental Research and Development Project (LERD) of the Chaipattana Foundation and Faculty of Environment, Kasetsart University in organizing the international conference “The 3rd International Conference on Environment, Livelihood, and Services” during 14-16 March 2022, through an online platform.
The objectives of the Conference are to promote, support and develop knowledge in environmental management by means of natural methods based on the royal initiative of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great. In addition, the conference aims to create international network on environment while the researchers and students get opportunity to present research paper. In the Conference, there are keynote and guest speakers who are experts in related fields from 13 countries participating such as the People's Republic of China, Japan, United States, Austria, Australia, Canada, United Kingdom. There are also presentations and a subgroup meeting on climate change as well as a panel discussion on the topic "The Role of Private Sector in the Country's Environmental Management"
