Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Travels to the Chaipattana Vocational Park Project in Order to Observe the 12 Years of the Project’s Operation
On 10 April 2023, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn traveled to the Chaipattana Vocational Park Project in Bo Phlap Sub-district, Mueang Nakhon Pathom District, Nakhon Pathom Province, in order to observe the 12 years of the Project’s operation.
On this occasion, Her Royal Highness graciously prepared the new recipe “Pickled Vegetable” and recommended the special tips in making this menu to the audience through an online channel.
Chaipattana Vocational Park Project was first opened to public in 2011. The Project’s activities are divided into 2 parts as follows;
Academic Service: The Project has organized vocational trainings for people and youth in Nakhon Pathom Province as well as the nearby provinces, especially those who lack of educational opportunities. The professional contents are in line with economic issues, social issues and local requirements so that the participants can apply their knowledge and skills in their own context effectively. In addition, there is also exhibition hall named “Pipit Chaipattana”, which allows visitors to participate and learn about the Chaipattana Foundation as well as the theoretical concepts of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej The Great in an interactive manner. At the Project, there is also a modern library openly accessed to public.
Social Services: The Project has organized the activities for communities and business activities while the Project’s income has been distributed to communities in order to create job opportunities. The social services include a modern conference room which can accommodate more than 500 participants, and the common area for selling products from the students of the Project and those form the communities. This area is opened every Wednesday and Friday.
From 12 years of operations since 2011, the Chaipattana Vocational Park Project in Nakhon Pathom Province has organized more than 1,317 training courses, including 106 online training courses, with more than 985,096 trainees. In terms of social services, there are more than 2 million people in Nakhon Pathom Province and nearby provinces involving in the Project’s activities, generating income to more than 50,000 people in the communities.
